Tourist Destination: Bolkinggre/Nengmandalgre

Bolkinggre and Nengmandalgre are villages accross the Simsang nearby Williamnagar. About 10 kms by road, Nengmandalgre is much shorter in the dry season when bamboo bridges come up at different places across the Simsang without going through the Warimagre Bridge. Amidst the rustic charm of Bolkinggre is the Me∙mo Lake, a popular getaway for sightseeing, picnics and leisure boating. The artificial lake is the confluence of the Me∙mo and Asa streams. The lake has paddle boats and inflated rafts that could be hired.

The Asimbibra Fish Sanctuary at Chibok stream in nearby Nengmandalgre, just 8 kms from Williamnagar, is another place you can visit on the way to Me∙mo Lake. A favourite pastime is to feed the fishes and watch the feeding frenzy from a hanging bridge across the stream.

Another favourite pit stop en route to Nengmandalgre is the Chiminmingre Picnic Spot where the crystal clear pool of Rongon River are ideal for swimming.
